Installation of smart traffic lights in Tatarstan

ARKONA actively participates in the creation of intelligent transportation systems with smart traffic lights in Russian regions.
Tatarstan is actively implementing intelligent transportation systems within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. This year more than 141 million rubles have been allocated for the project implementation, of which 114.6 million are federal budget funds, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
As part of the implementation of intelligent transportation systems, 19 traffic lights with adaptive traffic control system were installed this year: 13 in Kazan agglomeration and six in Naberezhnochelninskaya agglomeration. For example, “smart” traffic lights appeared at the intersections of Marx-Mislavsky, Ostrovsky-Sukonnaya, Serov, Tukai-Karima streets in Kazan. In Naberezhnochelninskii Chelny they were installed at Naberezhnochelninskii Avenue - stop “Polyclinic No. 4”, at Gostevaya - Aerodromnaya Street, 40 years of Victory - Vakhitova Avenue.
